So I am doing these posts kind of out of order but at least they are all getting written down!
We went to Arizona at the beginning of March for Angels Spring Training. We went last year(just me, Christian and Soph) and hopefully it has become a tradition now! We always have so much fun when we spend time together like this. We are so thankful that we have been able to have this time and just be healthy.
All of the Angel players were so nice to Sophia. She is definitely an attention getter!

Soph's Birthday
So Soph's birthday was on March 29th and she turned 3! It was such a fun weekend. Unfortunately I was totally sick the week leading up to the weekend but luckily I was better by the time the weekend rolled around. Jay and Cathy came to visit and spend the weekend with us and celebrate. We love having them here! Of course, there was great food(thanks Jay!) and great company. All in all, a great weekend spent with family and friends.

Praying...
So we have been praying at night now with Sophia. It's really been a fun thing to do. Sophia NEVER fails to remind me, "Mommy, we forgot to say our prayers!" even if it is 10 am!
So the other night we were praying and she always wants me to start first. So I said, "Dear God, thank you for our family, and thank you for keeping us healthy. Thank you for Sophia. We love you, Amen." Then it was Sophia's turn. She said, "Dear God, Thank you for my family, thank you for my pets, thank you for me, Amen."! I thought it was so cute that she prayed for herself!! She cracks me up!
Last night we were praying and as she is in the middle of her prayer she opens her eyes, leans over to me and says "What else should I pray for Mama?"(she likes to call me Mama which I think is so cute!) I said "What else would you like to pray for? And she said, "How about licorice?" I said, "Sure, licorice is good" So her prayer went something like this..."Dear God, Thank you for my family, and thank you for my house, and thank you for my licorice, and thank you for me, Amen."!
Gotta love her...I don't know what I would do without her...

Christmas Eve
So Christmas Eve is the big day in our family. I remember when I was growing up, I would be so excited about Christmas Eve. It was always at my Grandma's house and there were many wonderful family traditions that were carried out on that night. First of all, my Grandma made each and everyone of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren a stocking and would fill them with stocking stuffers. It was so nice to know that she took SO much time to plan all the stocking stuffers and wrap EVERY single one of the items! Now Christmas Eve switches back and forth between my mom and my aunt since my Grandma can't do it anymore. Here are some pictures from this Christmas Eve...

Santa came to visit the kiddos

Do you notice the sheer joy on Sophia's face that she got a PEZ dispenser??

Sophia is just jazzed that she got a pair of Fancy Nancy dress shoes
Karin got Sophia a Wiggles car, which you can tell by the look on her face, was a hit!
Karin also got Sophia a DOLLHOUSE! How cool is that? She spent so much time making pillows, bedspreads, and anything else you can think of that a little girl would want in a doll house. Thank you Oma!

Christmas Cookies
Did you notice all the powdered sugar EVERYWHERE?!
Some cute dirty hands!
So every year we do a cookie exchange with everyone in our family. There are always a TON of cookies, brownies, nut cups, etc. This year was a little more fun for us though. Sophia and I made the cookies together. It is so much fun to have a little girl. She always wants to help me and is such a wonderful helper.
Christmas Lights
We went to my old neighborhood where they go all out with the Christmas lights. It was so fun, but it was bitter cold. I know you must think I am crazy because we live in California and it doesn't get that cold here, but it was cold! Christian, Karin, Sophia and I went that night. It was so cute to see Sophia's face when we would come up to another house with lights. She wouldn't want to move from that house! I just absolutely love Christmas time. It is truly magical through the eyes of a child...

My Birthday
So my birthday was on the 19th of December...i know, I'm a little late! We had a nice dinner with Family and Friends.

It was a nice night. I got some nice gifts and best of all got to spend the time with my fam.
Unfortunately, right as I started to eat my dinner, Sophia threw up all over me. We have been battling this flu for over two weeks now. After two trips to the doctor, and one trip to the ER, hopefully we will have some answers soon.
